Vision > Vision and Equipping of Implementation Leader(s)
This tool is a collection of four workshop manuals that introduce the practical skills of reading, writing, critical thinking, and Socratic discussion that are assumed and developed by using the BILD Resources.
This tool is important because the BILD partners who have been influenced by the schooling paradigm often lack competency in the practical skills of reading, writing, critical thinking, and the Socratic discussion method. Yet the consistent study process that is embedded within every BILD resource relies heavily on the possession and development of these skills in both the leaders and the learners.
The intended audience for this tool is Sodal-type church leaders who are responsible for mentoring and training church leaders at every level of development in churches and church networks worldwide.
As a result of using these workshop manuals, top church leaders should develop a basic understanding of the practical skills of reading, writing, critical thinking, and Socratic discussion that are needed in order to maximize the learning process that is embedded within every BILD resource. This basic understanding, as a set of first principles, should provide a sufficient framework for progressively mastering these skills through ongoing practice of using the BILD resources in their ministry contexts.
