Idea in Brief

Much learning and development happens while doing ministry. A Ministry Practicum uses the environment of actual ministry responsibility as a tool to development character, knowledge, or ministry skill in others.

Why

Leaders need to use ministry experiences to advance their own development.
Effective leaders are developed because lessons in character, knowledge, or ministry skill are linked to actual needs of the churches.
Lessons learned need to be captured before they are lost from memory. This tool, with its template, will help capture those lessons.
Other leaders will be motivated to develop as they see their teacher also in an active learning process.
