Establishment > Completion of Competency Cohorts - Phase 2
This Orientation to Life and Ministry Development tool is a collection of two tools introducing the 10-Step and LifeN Update.
The 10-Step tool is important because the BILD partners who have been influenced by the evolutionary paradigm of human design and narrow classifications of personality types often lack competency in understanding and using the SIMA resources that sit at the heart of the LifeN life development planning process. The purpose of this workshop guide is to orient participants to the basic features of the 10-Step process by reviewing the overall content and intended outcome of the Becoming Who You Are Designed to Be book, by considering an example of a completed set of Becoming Who You Are Designed to Be worksheets, and by imagining practical ways to roll-out the 10-Step process in their own ministry contexts.
LifeN Update tool is important because the BILD partners who have been influenced by the schooling paradigm often think about taking BILD courses merely in an academic way rather than as a process of acquiring wisdom within a holistic life development plan. The purpose of the LifeN Update tool is to orient Antioch School leaders and students to the purpose and process of updating the LifeN plan.
The intended audience for this tool is Sodal-type church leaders who are responsible for mentoring and training church leaders at every level of development in churches and church networks worldwide.
As a result of using the 10-Step tool, top church leaders should develop a basic understanding of the Becoming Who You Are Designed to Be resource and how to skillfully use it in guiding their constituents through the 10-Step process.
As a result of using the LifeN Update tool, top church leaders should develop a basic understanding of the purpose and process of updating LifeN Plans within Antioch School degree programs.
